Jetzt werdet ihr euch sicher fragen wieso man sowas braucht.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">\r\n\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">Naja das ist so einfach wie verr\u00fcckt. 1893 wurde bei Kalgoorlie Gold gefunden. 1896 wurden die Pl\u00e4ne daf\u00fcr vorgelegt. Ca 530 km weiter weg um Landesinneren hatte man Gold gefunden. Doch dort gab es kein Wasser. Also konnte man es nicht f\u00f6rdern.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">\r\n\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">So entschloss man sich in Mundaring einen Staudamm zu bauen und eine <a href=\"https:\/\/www.australiasgoldenoutback.com\/itineraries\/golden-pipeline-heritage-trail\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Pipeline 530 km<\/span><\/strong><\/a> ins Landesinnere zu verlegen. Herausfordernd waren hier auch die 400 H\u00f6henmeter die zu \u00fcberwinden waren. Hier gibt es auf dem Weg 8 Pumpstationen die das regeln.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">\r\n\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">Um das Umzusetzen wurde erstmal eine Eisenbahnlinie nach Mundaring gebaut. Der Bau des Staudamms sowie der Pipeline war 1903 abgeschlossen<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">\r\n\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">Die Pipeline versorgt noch heute mehr als 100.000 Menschen mit Frischwasser. Sie ist nach wie vor die l\u00e4ngste S\u00fc\u00dfwasser Pipeline. Der Staudamm ist insgesamt 131 Meter hoch.<br \/>Laut Wikipedia aus 2008\/2010 ist der <a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Lake_C.Y.O%E2%80%99Connor\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Staudamm wohl etwas undicht.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/a><br \/><br \/>Nach dem Staudamm sind wir noch in das <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Mundaring_Weir_Hotel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Mudaring Weir Hotel<\/span> <\/strong><\/a>gefahren. Das dortige Hotel und Pub\u00a0 wurde zur gleichen Zeit erreichtet wie der Staudamm selbst.
